Recent studies indicate that public art has a sizable impact building community and strengthening local economies in Colorado. 

The Town of Carbondale established the Carbondale Public Arts Commission (CPAC) in 2003 to promote all forms of visual art to be displayed throughout our community for the benefit of residents and visitors.

Since 2003, CPAC established the Art aRound Town annual rotating exhibit, as well as created and implemented the One Percent for the Arts program.

If you are interested in participating in this worthwhile and fun all volunteer effort, please join CPAC for a meeting.  We meet at 8:00 a.m. the first and third Thursday of each month at Town Hall.
